John Burns Jr. was my attorney, and Ben was the paralegal on the case. I've gotten to know many attorneys, and he brought his A-game to every hearing, no exception. I saw some reviews complaining about money, but you get what you pay for! Same with Ben; he is very kind and will review anything you throw at him. You have to trust these guys to do what's best for you, because they won't update you on every little thing. I wanted them to prepare a great case on my behalf for the judge(s), and bogging them down with petty things just gets in the way. My case had many "pivots" due to the other party not being transparent and not following through, which infuriated me, but John and Ben made the best of it and delivered each time. Family Court is an emotional thing... I get it. They were always objective and looking at the big picture and how the JUDGE would see things. Even when new things came up during hearings, I was impressed how John was able to use them in my favor. He was a great negotiator when it came to settlement, even with the other party having a good lawyer. In the end, starting out with zero custody of my daughter, I got full custody of my daughter!! I don't think this could have happened with any other attorney. He's not a "my way or the highway" attorney, either. I changed my mind a couple times, and he did his best, clearly.
